This lesson finishes up chapter 8. Wisdom is still being personified as a woman. It teaches people that if they would search for the Wisdom of God, there would be life and godly favor bestowed to them, but if they do not choose to search the Wisdom of God, it will lead to injuring themselves to the point of their own death. It’s a choice everyone in life is forced to make from time to time. So choose well and choose “wisely”.
